Before I explain about this specific museum, I would like to open the paragraph with a quote:
"Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories." ~ Sun Tzu
The Great Britain had been in multiple wars since the 1700, two being the most popular were the World War I & II and the rest is history of countless wins and defeats. The museum located in the South East of London, focuses on both the WW I & II from the weapons, transportation (Land and Aircrafts) as well potraits of the Holocausts. The exterior of the building look very similar to St.Paul's however the paint has worn off with small fields of cogon grass (Google that!) in front of the building, plus the rusting gates gave off the post-war apocalypse vibe.
As someone who is't familiar about the world history, the artifacts in this museum are self explanatory displaying the journey happened in the war. The place consists of 9 permanent exhibits ranging from The World Wars , The Holocaust, Post World War by reflecting to our generation in the 2010s.I admire the aircrafts and the "vintage" cars that were displayed because it had character and a glimpse of the evolution in vehicle that we didn't get to see in most museums.
The museum consists of 3-4 floors, I would recommend to spare about 2 hours maximum because even though it's not filled with fancy Picasso and Monet it is definitely worth to capture. Especially the interior of the building are stone grey concrete walls that I'm sure could be someone's Instagram aesthetic. It's also suitable to all ages, there are several exhibitions that provides animation and interactive graphics.Oh and it's free!
